Daylight Saving Time ends today. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back an hour before you go to bed tonight.
Because we change our clocks every six months, Daylight Saving Time is a great time to do certain home maintenance chores too. It’s a set schedule for any chore that should be done twice a year.
- Replace the batteries in your home’s smoke detectors. It only takes a few minutes and the result of fresh batteries every six months could be life saving. When you think about it, you have an extra hour so it really takes no time at all :).
- Replace any water filters that have a six month life span.
Stay safe and enjoy your extra hour long weekend!
